Dreamy Creamy Oreo Dessert

May 7, 2021

This Dreamy Creamy Oreo Dessert has a layer of crushed Oreo cookie crust, sweet cream cheese filling, fluffy chocolate pudding and homemade whipped cream and topped with crushed Oreos! It will most definitely be a crowd pleasing dessert around your dinner table!!

I’ll let you in on a little secret and go ahead and call me crazy. I’m not a big fan of Oreo cookies. What??! I’m a sucker for soft chewy cookies and just can’t do the texture of hard cookies. There’s the texture issue again! 😉 But throw Oreos into a dessert or ice cream and I’M ALL IN! I love how the cookies soften up in the cream cheese filling but still have a slight crunch. A crunch I can handle. 😉

This dessert is incredible! After playing around with it for quite some time, I was so pleased with the results. And so were all my taste testers! It’s crazy easy to make. All you need is a few ingredients and 30 minutes. Did I mention it’s a no bake dessert?? You’re welcome!

I’m all about comfort foods and I’m claiming this as a comfort food treat! 😉 Make it for your next family get together and see if you can make it out of the house without sneaking some bites!

Yield: 9 servings

INGREDIENTS

Crust
  • 18 finely crushed Oreo crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Cream Cheese Filling
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 8 Oreo cookies, coarsely crushed
Chocolate Pudding
  • 113 g package chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
Crumb Topping
  • 7 Oreo Cookies, coarsely crumbled

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Butter or grease a 9×9″ baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Pulse the Oreo cookies in a food processor or blender until they’re a fine crumb. Add the crumbs to a small bowl and pour in the melted butter. Blend with a fork until crumbs are moistened and mixed well. Press crumb mixture into the bottom of the dish and place in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  3. In the bowl of a stand mixer, whip the cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until fluffy and smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the whipping cream, 3 tablespoons sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  5. Very gently and by hand, mix together whipped cream and cream cheese mixture until well combined. Stir in crushed Oreos.
  6. Spread half of the cream cheese/whipped cream filling evenly over the Oreo crust.
  7. Using a mixing bowl, combine the pudding and cold milk. Whisk together until thick. Then gently spread over the top of the cream cheese layer, covering it completely.
  8. Spread remaining cream cheese filling on top and sprinkle coarsely crumbled Oreos over the top. Cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours or overnight before serving.
